"El Cantil is an incredible place to stay! I've been coming to Cozumel for over 20 years, and this is - by far - the nicest place I've run across. Quiet, wonderfully furnished ... all the comforts of home, but with a distinct Mexican feel. Within easy walking distance of town; no more hassling with cabs! If you're a diver, the boats will pick you up and drop you off right at the dock in front of the condo. Then, in the evening, relax on the superb balconey overlooking the ocean, sipping your margarita, watching the red sun sink below the horizon!"

"El Cantil (more specifically La Bella Vista) has set a new standard in island accommodations. There isn't another hotel, condo, all-inclusive that is even a close second (and I've experienced my share of them). Everything from the convenience of an easy walk to anywhere you care to go in Cozumel, to the pseudo-Walmart across the street that carries everything you could ever need, to the personal pick-up on the dock right out our back door.....this place has it all. It is the most perfectly located property on the island. The unit itself is unbelievably decorated with special touches every where you look. It has a distinct island feel throughout so beautifully appointed with things like granite countertops, beautiful Mikasa dinnerware, plush towels and bedding, it has everything! You need not leave the comforts of home to enjoy the beauty of this island. I was most impressed with the beautiful master bath that is off EACH bedroom. They are each done in beautiful marble tile with big two-man (or woman) size showers and as I said, every square inch beautifully appointed. Also I would recommend Rockin' Java (again well w/in walking distance)for breakfast and lunch. The only thing missing at La Bella Vista is me! I'll be a regular in 6C. Sorry if I've rambled, there's just so much to say about it!"

"El Cantil is a true treasure to Cozumel. Unit 6c specifically was perhaps the finest 4 bedroom you will find here. The views are breathtaking and the the location is convienient for local shopping and a taste of Cozumel night life. This is definetly a place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. Thanks again for the great hospitatlity and the opportunity to visit 6C at El Cantil! "

"El Cantil Unit 6C was luxurious. Close to town, across the street from a grocery store and very safe. The view was incredible. I will be back when the construction next door is complete. The staff could not have been more courteous. Margaret was especially helpful to our group. See you next year"

"El Cantil Unit 6C can not be beat for location and value!! We arrived later on Tuesday and we are staying at the new El Cantil Sur condo’s. HOLY COW YOU CAN”T BELIEVE THIS PLACE. Anyone who stayed at the El Presidente before you can pretty much forget that, because this is the new luxury place to stay at!! The garage area are open air cages that you can lock all you gear up to dry overnite. The rinse tank is also just next the pool deck so you can fully rinse it then just walk around the corner and let it dry for the next morning. Getting in and out if the building is totally secure, you must have a room swipe key to enter the elevators, and all entrances and exits. And the big grocery store is just across the street. If you want to do a shore dive, just walk right out the beach and under the walkway bridge and you are there. We are diving with Blue XT Sea and they have been picking us up right at the dock at the condo. Nothing is better than laying out on the sand and not rushing. But the real beauty of this condo is inside. As you enter the front door, there is a magnificent hallway entrance, You immediately notice the large imported tiles throughout. You just know this has class written all over it. Your eyes are quickly drawn to the front room ahead of you and it is big, I’d say 50 feet by 25 feet! Nice full size couches, a formal glass dinning table for 8 and decorated very sophisticatedly. As you move through the full size, wall to wall glass doors, you can’t help but take in the view. Oceanfront and a view of everything!! Back inside, you figured out that you missed the kitchen. Complete wrap around granite tops, flat surface stove, microwave, full frig, and all the utensils and more pans than you could ever want. Oh and there is a dish washer for your coffee cups from the coffee maker in the morning To the left is the first bedroom, Huge with a queen size bed. And it sure as heck is not hard. This is one of those Ohhh Soooo Soft mattresses that you have to set 3 alarm clocks for because you just won’t want to get out of bed in the morning. Good bye hard stuff!! And no need to put on a robe, because you have your own bathroom and shower. This is private!! In fact all the bedrooms have a private bath and shower. The master bath has 2 queens and the largest bathroom, even 2 shower heads for that romantic moment!! The other 2 bedrooms face towards the city and give you a great view at night. And the 3rd bedroom faces towards the ocean, have fun selecting yours!. Dish satellite TV including 24 hour news and financial channels. And as I type this DSL at 100mps for keeping in touch on line all the time and not paying the outrageous rates at the internet café’s. DVD player, CD player, and even connections for playstations. In all, Suite 6C is just Sweet, Sweet, Sweet. We have been just blown away at how nice this is and how easy everything has been. "

"Nine of us stayed in unit 6C with four spacious bedrooms, each with their private bath. The unit and condo were absolutely fabulous - - breathtaking. We will definitely be going back to El Cantil. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was always very clean. The accommodations couldn't have been any more spectacular. Being across from the grocery store was another luxery, as well as the location, only 3/4 mile walk into downtown. The dive boats picked us up daily from our dock - and the snorkeling from the dock was also very nice. Nothing else could have been any better."

"Its an amazing condo ***** (5 star), very comfortable for our two familes of 8 total,everything you would want,luxury unit, Plush, Well decorated, one block to the supermarket+++,large pools, boat dock, best sunset views you can imagine, it has it all. We got lucky--Fished on a 33' wellcraft boat between the island and main land and caught a 78" White Marlin and 2-30" tunas. Staff is wonderfull and Cozmel people are very warm and a safe place to be. All were in agreement, Best vacation the both families ever had. Michael J. Poli"

"We had a great time in Cozumel. Your condo was beautiful, the view was outstanding, the sunsets were out of this world. We snorkeled right off the dock and also went to Corona Beach. The other guests were great we snorkeled with one group and went dancing at Senior Frogs with the other. Al and Claudia and the rest of the staff were wonderful. We told everyone we know how wonderful El Cantil is. We hope to return next year so we can dive again. Jim (my husband) had shoulder surgery so we could not dive this year. The lockers in the garage are a great idea. We went fishing (a charter Al set up for us) and caught two sailfish, a blue marlin, a tuna and a barracuda. My son's friends went nuts. Al's restaurant prepared the tuna for us. The boys said it was, "the best 7 days of their lives." Counting the days until next year."

"Our party of 6 stayed at La Bella Vista from 04/21/06 - 04/28/06 - we HIGHLY recommend this experience!!! Gone are the thoughts of ever going back to an all-inclusive hotel concept. The grocery store is right across the street and the condo is well stocked with servingware and cookware. The view is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed countless hours on the balcony. We found the staff at El Cantil to be very helpful and friendly, the unit is furnished and decorated in a very comfortable manner - I can't say enough about how enjoyable this trip was and how anxious we will be to return as soon as our schedules permit us to!!! "Our family just got back from 13 days in Cozumel where we stayed in your Condo at El Cantil. El Cantil is by far and away the best condo complex on the island. The unit is beautiful with over 3,000 sq.. ft of living space, 4 large bedrooms each with a full bath, large living area, great kitchen, and ocean/gulf front view from the long covered patio. The unit is wonderfully appointed and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to make a full course dinner with seating for 10. The unit has the look of being professionally decorated and all the bath rooms are full tile with accents. We have stayed in may nice units around the world and I would say that this is perhaps the nicest of them all. Service is 5 star. The unit is cleaned each day, sheets changed, and clean towels provided for bathing and the beach. The maid service is especially good, including doing your laundry, if you desire. The patio is cleaned each day and again it is top notch. Every couple of days the hot tub is also cleaned. There is 24 hour door man service which is helpful and gives you a sense of protection. I expect that the level of service was enhanced by a few well paid Tips, but worth every penny. Ramon and Claudia provide property management services and are excellent and very helpful. They will make all trip arrangements for you and provide you very good recommendations about where to go and what to do. As for eating out recommendations, listen to Claudia. She was right on in every case. Everyone providing services at El Cantil is friendly and goes out of there way to be helpful. This really enhances the experience. El Cantil is located within easy walking distant of downtown and cabs are easily available to get you anywhere you want to go at reasonable rates. We did rent a car and this was good for trips around the island, but you could use a cab. The best super market/store (Chedraui) is right across the street; so it is easy to get to and well stocked for Mexico. You won't find the selection you have in the US, but it works once you understand that things like milk or processed and in non-refrigerated containers.. The unit has a pool, swimming pool are for kids, and a gulf fed hot tub. The complex has two piers for jumping into the blue-green water. One pier is used to pick you up for scuba, snorkeling, etc. This is very convenient and makes the experience easy, as you don't have to go to them - they come to you. There are fish to be seen right in front of the condo complex, so bring your gear. We were in every day. If you are going to eat out, don't miss Guidos (look for the kitty), the Sonora Grill, or El Moro (but not for atmosphere). The best food on the island is at La Cocay….as good as you get in US. The Napa Salad is great as were the main courses. This is a must on your trip. Every one had a great time and said they would love to return! "
